Girls on Tour.

As you know, last week I went for a well deserved girls holiday.  Every year my Mum my Sister and I go away to sun ourselves and catch-up.  The last bit is not really needed as we all speak to each other every day but still!
Black was obviously the unspoken travel colour!
We are all wearing current season..
I am wearing a Mango T-shirt with sequins on, a Zara skirt.
Mum is in Artigiano shirt and trousers and Hobbs T
Nicky is in one of my favourite best buys of the season, a Tesco dress which looks fab and way more expensive than it was!
The big suitcase is my Mum's before you think it was mine.

The week in Marbella at The Gran Melia don Pepe, was just what we all needed, armed with piles of books and bottles of factor 30 we chose our spot round the pool that looked out over the sea and stayed there for the entire week, with breaks for dinner and sleep....  It was heaven.  Despite all that time in the sun we all came back looking surprisingly pale (the ability to get uber tanned is not in our DNA, we are of the pale and interesting variety!)

Whilst away I got to try out some of my fab summer sale purchases from this year and last year as Cornwall (my summer holiday last year) did not require pretty summer dresses more wet suits!

I of course kept a photo diary of my favourite outfits:

This is my Selfridges sale buy: McQ dress reduced from £350 to £150 and my Miss KG shoes reduced from £70 to £49.
This little dress is probably the best purchase I have made all Summer, I first saw it when Styling a shoot as it had been sent in from Arcadia press department and I then went in search of it in my size!  It was only £35 but is a great every day dress.  The belt is Karen Millen and as I took on a carry-on size case the shoes are the same as above.
Another buy from this season is this maxi from Miss Selfridge, I cant remember how much it was.  I loved the fact that this had the tube top which means that I feel secure when wearing it but i also loved the country  print which works really well with denim. (in my head i am running through a field of corn or rolling in a haystack when wearing it).
A purchase from last years sale was this great all in one from Sweaty Betty, it is fab for wearing down to the pool or breakfast.  The turban is more necessity than fashion but i thought it was a fab look, had I had make-up, heels and gold jewellery on I think it would have worked!
I love going on holiday and now I am back I am already planning my next one, Maldives anyone?
