Valentines Outfits

If you are lucky enough to be heading out on a date this Friday then hopefully this little blog with 2 outfit options will come in handy to inspire your look!

If it is going to be a High Octaine Romantic evening then it HAS TO BE a DRESS!  DIVA is a brand that does sexy dresses with stretch in fabulous cut and colours!  For the style savy out there you may have seen Nigella wearing a lot of this brand in 'The TASTE'

The Opal dress in Scarlet Red £115 (as opposed to the pink in the image)

Add in a fur stole to give it real GLAMOUR this one is in the ZARA Sale £9.99

SHOES to add extra Va Va Voom to your look..... Astro courts form Kurt Geiger £120.00

If you are having more of a relaxed date night then try this great Smart Casual option:

For me a great SC outfit starts with a strong colour and this Ted Baker Alisya jacket £165, does not disappoint on wow factor.

Turn back the sleeve and layer this Sheer panel top from  Zara £29.99, underneath!  The sheer panels give it a sexy edge but the overall shape is casual and not over the top!

To this I would dress down the bottom half with these distressed jeans worn rolled up £46.98 GAP

The wow factor with this look comes from the way you bring it together with accessories!  First off try stacking up several rings and midi rings Topshop and Accessorize have great selections.

Then add in a contrast pop of colour with one of these great Olivia Burton Watches £55 (yes I am slightly obsessed with these at the moment)

Wearing all these great accessories will be highlighted when everyone's attention is drawn to a statement clutch bag, this ASOS Blurred Lines clutch is £25 and will tie the look together!

And now the finishing touch!

Invest in a shoe that will be super sexy, but also useful for the Spring Summer season ahead.  This Yellow ALDO shoe £60  is just the ticket!

Have an AMAZING VALENTINES...

Tomorrow we discuss the best bars and restaurants for those of you who have not yet booked!

Over exposure..

No I am not talking Brittney Spears or Jennifer Aniston!  I am talking camera!
I love an over exposed picture.. It seems more dreamy and gives the image a more grainy aged look!
These were taken on Hampstead Heath with my blackberry (hence the over exposure) but I think they are beautiful!

Clothes are by H&M, Gap and Oxfam and he necklace is ... yes you guessed it Lucy Hutchings.

Outnet Loser!

What sort of Stylist am I?

One who pressed snooze on her alarm this morning and opted for an extra 20 mins in bed.. It was good until I checked twitter on my blackberry and realised that it was the Outnet £1 birthday bonanza! A vision in black and white polka dot pyjama set I rush past the boyfriend in the hallway with cup of green tea in his hand meant for me (oops) fly down the stairs switch on the slowest computer in the world and when it finally decides to work................ I can't get onto the Outnet sale (Arrgggh).

An hour later I find myself still sat in front of the computer continuing to re click into the link. Finally I get access, no time to scroll all items, so I type in bags (sold out) shoes (sold out, DOH) clothes medium there are still some there hallelujah! I start clicking into gorgeous looking garments only to be thrown out of the site completely about 20 times, but I persist I want that Alberta Ferretti top and I am going to get it.....

No it would appear that I am not.. after spending another half an hour trying to buy it it says Sold Out! OK, I can suck it up and carry on looking.. the only things left in my size are a pair of tracksuit bottoms or a stripey jersey dress. I click on the dress and it throws me out of the site again, about to click back in I stop myself and ask, Do I want this hideous stripey dress? The answer is No it is uber ugly and if it was in Oxfam for 50p you wouldn't buy it..

I look at the clock and kick myself when I realise I have spent 3 hours of my life trying to get into the Outnet sale! Needing to cheer myself up I pop on the gorgeous purchases I made on Wednesday. It is not warm enough to wear the complete look today but it will remind me that good clothes can happen to good people (I consider myself good people by the way).

So here is my new outfit not from Outnet:
'T' shirt was £7 at Dorothy Perkins
Jacket was £69 at Zara (thought it was reminiscent of the Celine jacket)
Belt was £9 at H&M
Trousers were £32.50 at Gap

I Apologise for the shoe choice they were all I had to hand and the fact that my mirror needs a good clean, will get the boyfriend onto that asap! (I wish).
