Valentines Outfits

If you are lucky enough to be heading out on a date this Friday then hopefully this little blog with 2 outfit options will come in handy to inspire your look!

If it is going to be a High Octaine Romantic evening then it HAS TO BE a DRESS!  DIVA is a brand that does sexy dresses with stretch in fabulous cut and colours!  For the style savy out there you may have seen Nigella wearing a lot of this brand in 'The TASTE'

If you are having more of a relaxed date night then try this great Smart Casual option:

For me a great SC outfit starts with a strong colour and this Ted Baker Alisya jacket £165, does not disappoint on wow factor.

Turn back the sleeve and layer this Sheer panel top from  Zara £29.99, underneath!  The sheer panels give it a sexy edge but the overall shape is casual and not over the top!

To this I would dress down the bottom half with these distressed jeans worn rolled up £46.98 GAP

The wow factor with this look comes from the way you bring it together with accessories!  First off try stacking up several rings and midi rings Topshop and Accessorize have great selections.

Then add in a contrast pop of colour with one of these great Olivia Burton Watches £55 (yes I am slightly obsessed with these at the moment)

 Wearing all these great accessories will be highlighted when everyone's attention is drawn to a statement clutch bag, this ASOS Blurred Lines clutch is £25 and will tie the look together!

And now the finishing touch!

Invest in a shoe that will be super sexy, but also useful for the Spring Summer season ahead.  This Yellow ALDO shoe £60  is just the ticket!

Acid Brights at Centre Court Shopping

Acid Brights have exploded on the runway and high street for SS13, with Burberry Prosum and DKNY injecting hi-res colour to their collections. 

Crystal has on, a very 60’s inspired take on the trend which has a real Louis Vuitton feel to it, the Coral dress is by ALMARI at OASIS £49.95, the Pink and orange clutch is from ACCESSORIZE £29.00 and then to make the look more DAY!  we popped the Elissa brogues from JONES THE BOOTMAKER.

If the shape of the Oasis option does not work for your body shape then take a look at this great dress from VERO MODA AT OLIVER BONAS £34.00, the colour really pops when put with this Necklace also OLIVER BONAS £26.00.  The summer Hat is from ACCESSORIZE £20.00 and give the outfit more glamour!

Another great look that we used was this H&M number, the jacket £29.99, trousers £24.99, top £14.99 and gloves all came from H&M. Then with so much colour we toned the outfit down with a metallic shoe from MODA IN PELLE £59.95

So be daring and highlight your wardrobe this season with florescent pink, orange or yellow and if wearing the colours in garments feel a bit to out there!!!   Go for neon accessories instead.

I love a nice piece of arm candy and I am not talking Johnny Depp!  I mean handbags and specifically clutch bags, they can turn an old outfit into something new and they remind me a little bit of sweets but without the calories.... even better.

Here are my top 3 at the moment:

Banana Republic beaded lovelyness is £59.50 but so worth it!  Use it for a night out with a simple T-shirt and a pair of jeans or glam up a beautiful maxi for that seaside wedding.

Then we have the closest I can get to that Miu Miu from my blog a few weeks ago.  This clutch is perfectly formed and will add a fabulous pop of colour to any outfit and its only £25 from Accessorize.

Last but by no means least is this cute shell shape clutch also from Accessorize for £32, a little too small for the blackberry and the camera but ideal for an occasion where you don't need your phone!  This would look great with a colour clash palazzo outfit... think this seasons Gucci and we are in business.
