Keeping warm in the Snow

Yes the Snow is causing chaos for lots of people up and down the country!  Being in Central london I am yet to be affected, a little annoying as I love nothing more than a walk through St James's park after a hefty dump of snow.  In fact my snow dog from last year is still on my desktop pics (there was not enough snow for an entire man so we made a dog).

Although the snow has not made me house bound the dreaded TAX return has and living in a very old house, with my office in it's very COLD basement, I have felt the chill of the snowy weather and have found the perfect snuggle outfits that are NOT the dreaded tracksuit!!!

So if you are needing to feel snuggly over the next few weeks think about some of the below:

The first is the closest to a Tracksuit, It is the Bermondsey Sweat Dress from Sweaty Betty, currently in the Sale for £45.00.  It is super comfy and looks great with leggings (I opt for leather leggings to make it look more fashionable) and it has little holes in the arm's, so it feels like i am wearing fingerless gloves!

The next is like a classic jumper dress but the boxy shape and high neck mean that you can make this oversized Jumper look super stylish with the rights accessories..  It is from Baukjen £100.00 and looks great with leather leggings or normal leggings and over the knee leather boots for outside!

Of you are a layering girl then why not use a gilet to give you the layers and warmth?  This sheepskin gilet from Karen Millen £495.00 looks great over a jumper dress but looks fantastic over the top of a slim leather to give extra texture whilst staying warm!

I hope you enjoy snuggling up and keeping the cold at bay!

Fashion Outlets

Yesterday I had a very wet photo shoot on a boat for Freeport Braintree Designer Village and it reminded me how great shopping outlets can be!  We are all experiencing a little bit of a pinch in the current financial climate and shopping outlets like Freeport are a great way of updating your wardrobe whilst watching the pennies!

This look we created last year was a TED BAKER dress with Karen Millen bag and the entire look was bang on trend and came in £200.00 cheaper than it would on the high street!  You can't argue with discounts that big...

The dress below was also Karen Millen and had a 30% discount to the high street price!

So if you are in need of a wardrobe up-date or a dress for the Jubilee weekend then I would highly recommend visiting one of the many Outlet's nationwide.  If you visit Braintree Freeport make sure you pop into Sasperilla as it has some great items that are not on the high street so you can guarantee that nobody else will be wearing the same outfit!

Delicious Denim

After seeing the wonderful Mrs MDS in her double denim get up a few weeks ago, I was inspired to update my denim looks!

I have done the wide leg jean with the different denim shirt but fancied something a little more playful.  My inspiration came in the form of Daisy Lowe on the recent Vogue pull out cover in a divine little strapless aged-denim number.  The look was fresh and clean and really simple and the dress was only £25 from H&M what a bargain!  However I don't have Daisy's figure, my bust is much bigger and I am not so happy with such a short skirt, so my search began.  I did not have to look for long as this fab little number caught my eye in Warehouse, it may be £20's more expensive but it has more material in it and it is a much better fit for my body shape.  I have popped my Karen Millen belt to add a bit of zing, I think with a few extra accessories this could be my favourite summer outfit and will look great with my dark denim shirt over the top.

I can then add va va voom with this fab Reiss hat...

And purchase some fab white wayfarer sunglasses by Rayban to finish the look! (or get some lookalikes from the lovely Primarny as I am very clumsy after a few glasses of Pimms)
