Bridal Dresses from The Couture Gallery

This month I had the pleasure of being invited to the bridal fashion show of amazing designer Britta Kjerkegaard of THE COUTURE GALLERY.  The fact that the show was at The Savoy where Rich and I got engaged made me even more keen to attend.

To start the evening off I took my sister and my future mother in law for a glass of bubbles in the bar where Rich proposed.  (we randomly sat on the exact same seat!!)

We then made our way to the FROW!!!

But what you really want to see are my top pics of the show:

I Love it when Bridal gowns have something a little bit different about them and the first 2 dresses i want to show you had fabulous detailing on the neck line and shoulders.  I think it is important to have interest in the top half of the dress as in the close up bridal shots it adds interest but also when you are sat behind a table for the wedding breakfast people only see you from the waist up!!

The neck detail on The Valeria Gown is just gorgeous from both the front and back and the choice of laser cut lace gives the dress a more modern feel.

Another dress from the show that had a beautiful neckline was The Verouska Gown.  It was a simple and timeless silhouette with beautiful lace detailing on the bust that then grew into a capped sleeve.  It is a dress that would photograph beautifully and flatter a multitude of body shapes.

For the girl who wants to look very BRIDAL...  you cant go wrong with The Juliet Gown which is a  full skirted dream.  The silk bodice flatters all figures and cinches in the waist while the large tulle skirt gives a floaty movement.  There is not a girl out there who would not feel like a Princess walking down the aisle in this dress.

Just look at how it moves!!

If the fuller skirt too much but the frothy texture of the Tulle appeals, The Couture Gallery have done a more sexy fishtail versions in the Rosalyn.  The fitted bodice follows the contours of the figure to the top of the thigh and then kicks out with this gorgeous frothy skirt.  (This dress was my 2nd favourite)

Then to my favourite...  but also in the region of a whopping £12,000!!!! The Jezebel took my breath away, with ivory silk duchess satin and hand draped silk organza pleating there is not much that you cant LOVE about this dress!  Then you look closer and find that each pleat also has a sequin trim underneath so that is shimmers when it catches the light!

I would highly recommend a visit to THE COUTURE GALLERY as the gowns are beautifully made and what every bride dreams of!

Before anyone asks...  No I have not ordered my dress yet but I can say that I did find more than a few dresses that I loved!
