THIS YEARS MEMORIES & 2014's NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS

So it is the last day of 2013...  Which means I have been looking back over the last 12 months and for me 2013 has been a year full of amazing highs like my Surprise HEN DO, Getting married to my Hubby in my favourite place in the world, HOME aka Essex!  Turning 30, hitting my business targets, becoming God Mother twice to to fab little boys and most importantly My Mum surviving a MASSIVE Operation and coming through it fitter and stronger than ever!  Unfortunately this year I also said goodbye to my Uncle Howard who lost his battle with Pancreatic Cancer in November, he was an amazing Man who will be greatly missed by all of us, especially his wonderful family.

After such an emotionally charged year it is really hard to come up with some New Years resolutions for 2014, as I have had the big b'day, the big wedding so I have no weight loss goals  (which is usually the main focus of my resolutions)....  So this year my new years resolutions are all about YOU...  my friends and readers!

So here goes:

1:  Spend more quality time with my friends, girls nights out and couples outings must be booked in the diary to ensure I see my besties.

2: Use my BLOG and YOU TUBE channel to help people start LOVING their bodies and become more daring with their fashion choices.

3: Start selling clothing that really works for people through the blog with useful hints and styling suggestions for each garment.

4:  Offer prizes to followers.. from beauty products, clothing or makeover experiences...  Give something back to my amazing client base!

5: Get on the BEAUTY regime to keep the wrinkles at BAY!

6:  Book more holidays and read more books.

Happy New Year everyone...  Be sure to stop by the Blog, The YouTube channel and the Facebook Page in January as we have lots of exciting fashion nuggets to share and lots of exciting new projects for you to get involved in!

Last minute shopping for Stylish Christmas outfits...

There is still one day to get that perfect Christmas Day outfit....  so I thought I would put together some  looks to inspire you!   Don't panic if you have over spent this festive season I have created some outfits that are cheap as chips as well as some blow-out options for those of you who have saved a little cash for that perfect outfit!

First of all we should discuss a budget option......  In my wardrobe I have tons of little black dresses that can be easily jazzed up to make them feel more festive.....   Add in a bit of bling with something like this Sequin cardigan from Tesco just £16.

Then add in these fab glitter tights £10 to bring the look together.....

Alternatively you could add in a slick or RED lips and pop on some RED tights to make the look a bit more festive!!!

A CHEAP LOOK:

These Jacquard trouser £45.00 from Topshop, are a great addition to a winter wardrobe and could easily be worn again with a nice jumper or blouse but when teamed with a bit of glitter will work really well for Christmas day....

Wear it with this sequin blouse £31.20 from Topshop, for a really festive look.... nothing says celebration like sequins.....

Mid Priced:

Sometimes I don't mind splashing out on an outfit that I know I will feel great in and get lots of use out of and this Ted Baker playsuit in festive Green £155 is just the kind of purchase that would fit really well into a wardrobe and is use able all round!!!!

BLOW OUT OUTFIT.......  If I had the dollar this is what I would be wearing on Christmas day:

This gorgeous Alexander McQueen wool dress £620

Teamed with this J Crew necklace £178

Bottega Veneta cutout shoe boots £495

I hope you get some inspiration from these looks and that you all look fabulous this Christmas.....  Last but not least I want to wish you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS..... and lets catch-up in the NEW YEAR!!  x x x

Nick Howard Music Video - Styled by Waceystyle

Last month I had the pleasure of styling the new NICK HOWARD music video.  The song is called Untouchable and I am sure you guys will all love it as much as I do.

The kids who I styled in the shoot were great little actors and we had them looking great in their Hipster get-up...

Check out the song it is GREAT and and get inspired with the kids fashion!

If you like the song be sure to follow Nick on Facebook and Twitter.  He is an English guy doing amazingly well in GERMANY, but lets give him the UK support he deserves!

Get sparkly this festive season

I recently tweeted about these fab Tuxedo style French Connection trousers as a great Christmas Party option and lots of you were unsure you could pull them off and many of you thought they were too expensive so I thought I should pop together a blog to give some tips on how to wear them and a selection of outfit variations to make them work harder for you this festive season!

So these are the bad boy's, they are £120 from French Connection

If I was sticking with the brand this is the look that I would put together, It is rather obvious to carry on with the Tuxedo vibe and opt for a cream blouse etc so instead I would add in a nice splash of colour with this longer line orange vest £22 it is also really easy to use to help your layering

Then I would opt for the Connie Crepe blazer £150 as it is a little softer than the Tuxedo blazer and can be mixed into really casual looks as well as evening ones!  It is also really flattering on any body shape!

For a slightly different take on the same idea try:

This peplum top from New Look £24.99, the peplum shape is great for those girls who are less confident about there legs as it cinches in the waist and then skims the hip!

with this Blazer £18.74 also New Look

For a more casual Christmas outfit idea, why not try them with these great Florence & Fred tunic and jumper tops!

This geometric lace Tunic is £30 and is a great relaxed option to team with the sequins

For a cheaper option why not try this jumper £10

Or if you liked the peplum idea and want a cheaper option check out this £16 Trumpet top also from Tesco's F&F.

I hope this has inspired you to try out a little bit of glitter on your trousers this season!!!

Polka Dots

Polka dots are huge this autumn/winter as was easy to witness from the Claridges, annual Christmas tree switch on!

Miu Miu's AW13 collection has several spotty items to get you into the mood.  But for a little more inspiration to go dotty this festive season find my top picks from the high street!

All I want for Christmas

is...

A WALK IN WARDROBE

This is surely every girls dream?  But ever since stumbling across The NeatSmith, I can't think of anything else.

I am the sort of stylist who likes to have a place for everything in my wardrobe so a room dedicated to all my clothes is a DREAM and this is what the dream looks like:

Wrap Up London

It's that time of year again, where we all start to fill the nip of that winter air and start wrapping up that little bit more.

Well Hands on London are running their 3rd Wrap up London coat collection campaign and it starts TOMORROW!  Their aim is to distribute 10,000 coats to over 100 charitable organisations over London, including homeless shelters, women's refuges, youth centres, refugee support groups, care homes, centres for the elderly, and food banks.

WOW I hear you say... what a great cause!  So what can you do to help?

Donate a coat!

You can donate a coat to someone in need at any one of the Wrap up London tube stations between 13th and 15th November, 7am – 11am. Donations can be made at the following stations:
Waterloo
Kings Cross
Charing Cross
London Bridge
Liverpool Street
Paddington
Victoria
Euston
Baker Street
Canary Wharf
Highbury and Islington

For those that can’t make it to those collections, you can also donate at one of the four Safestore warehouses from 11th - 22nd November, during standard opening times, or at the Broadgate Welcome Centre (Finsbury Avenue Square, EC2M) from 11th - 15th November, 9am - 5pm. The Safestore warehouse locations are as follows:
Safestore Bermondsey (24 Old Jamaica Rd, Bermondsey, SE16 4AW)
Safestore Pentonville Rd (79-89 Pentonville Rd, N1 9LG)
Safestore Notting Hill (Camelford Walk, W11 1TX)
Safestore Clapham (4 Timber Mill Way, Gauden Rd, SW4 6LY)
For all those clients of mine out there who have bought new coats with me this season... think about donating that old one, so that someone who needs it can stay warm this winter!  I know I will be. x

Festival Fun

Festival season is still in full swing with the upcoming V Festival, In my home town this weekend.  We thought it would be a great opportunity to inspire you to inject some festival style into your wardrobe.

These are a few of our top festival picks.

Kimono's are a great lightweight piece for any festival. They're easy to pack and jazz up an outfit to give it that summery, festival feel.

The floral crown is a huge statement piece this summer and perfect for festivals, as seen here on Katy Perry and Pixie Lott.

This purple one from Rock 'N' Rose will add a statement to any outfit and is sure to make you stand out from the crowd - £38

Footwear can sometimes be tricky at festivals. Last year we suggested wellies... so you probably already have some ready...  but why not try jelly shoes!  You want to look stylish but don't want to risk ruining your favourite shoes due to mud or your feet getting trodden on in crowds. Jelly shoes are water proof, easy to clean, comfortable and look cute with virtually any outfit. JuJu Jellies come in a wide range of different colours and styles. From £12.99.
