The Stork has been...

Over the last few weeks, 4 fab friends have had little bundles of joy so this is a little post for (in order of arrival) William, Freya, Olivia and Scarlett.

The exciting thing about these new little bundles of joy is that I now have a valid excuse to spend hours in Mammas and Papas cuddling the teddy's and looking at little all in ones for potential gifting ideas, so here are some of my favourites!

The Mamma's and Papas Whirligig dream bag (£32) it is adorable and oh so soft.

The little matching teddy (£20) I just love this range as it is not sex specific and is quirky!

Then we have adorable Ewan the Dream sheep (£28.99) that helps baby's sleep!  (Ruth I will get you one for when I come round next to help save your electricity bill and your hairdryer).  He Plays the sound of a baby's heartbeat and the womb or little songs and he glows in the dark!  I Love Ewan!

I can't wait for my next cuddles

Love La Dress

I love my La Dress, dress which I received through the post this week.

This company is just fabulous, they have been so helpful and generous in sending me this gorgeous Tunic dress in an eye popping blue.  I recommend it to so many of my Personal Styling clients because they genuinely have a style to fit any woman from any walk of life!

When the pretty purple box arrived I had to take a picture of that too...

Here is the dress with the sash that it comes with:

A picture of how I wore it out last night:

That night with Katie Piper and fabulous make-up artist Tara Mears.

My top picks from the Isabella Oliver 365 S/S collection

I had the pleasure of accompanying fellow blogger Mrs MakeDoStyle to the preview evening of Isabella Oliver's 365 Spring Summer collection a few months ago.  We nibbled on Sushi and sipped Champagne whilst trying on and browsing the collection as well as having an impromptu photo shoot with a Marilyn Monroe thread!

I had also forgotten that they had asked us to do our top picks to camera for their blog, so here are my top choices from the collection:

Dress me for the wedding..

Yes Wedding Season is soon to be here and I have 3 so far in the calendar so finding that perfect outfit is in the back of my head every time I surf the net or go shopping.  But being a stylist I don't want to run the risk of wearing something from the high street and then turn up and see someone else in the same outfit!!!!  That would just be an absolute fashion nightmare so I end up spending a small fortune on outfits to ensure this never happens..

I have shipped Betsey Johnson dresses from the US for that perfect wedding look and in fact have 3 that have done the rounds in various combos, adding bespoke cummerbunds or adapted silk shirts into jackets for the perfect 50's silhouette.  But this year I want to do less sewing (I need to make new curtains my priority)

The first Betsey dress which I have worn to 2 weddings and a party.

The 2nd Betsey dress..

The pink cummerbund I used as belt.

The Coast shirt I adapted into a Jacket

The other Betsey is in the wardrobe being saved for a party on the 2nd which is Mad Men themed!!  (I will of course blog images.)

So let me introduce you to..  (drum role please)  Suzannah, the dresses are to die for and the price tags mean that I am going to be working like a dog to afford them but I think they may just be worth it.

First on my wish list is this gorgeous One Shoulder Tulip Dress £650, The colour is so vibrant and the cut is perfect.  Just think of the colour clash shoes I could do with it too!!  This will be great for the black tie wedding in Chicago.

Then 2nd is this adorable Bat Heart fifties Amy Dress £365 which will work a dream for the traditional English wedding in the summer and maybe for various parties throughout the year!

Going Giddy For Gucci

Travie McCoy and Bruno Mars singing Billionaire is all I can think of when I look at the Gucci Spring Summer collection..... I mean have you seen a more enticing collection.

To start with it looks uber luxurious and very sexy and it all seems so wearable. My first covet piece is this great dress. I love the colour contrast and the gold tassel belt is a perfect addition to a wardrobe for this Spring Summer.

But at £1320 the dress is more than a little bit out of my budget and annoyingly the belt is £745 so I am going to have to attach my own tassels to this Reiss one.

Then you have this gorgeous purple strapless top that would look amazing with nearly everything in your wardrobe if it were not £470!

Or this amazing jumpsuit for that perfect mix of sport lux and safari, which would also look great with that gold belt.  At £1180 it is definitely one for the people who listen to that song and think Trillionaire next!
