Channelling DKNY!
I love the DKNY look this season, mainly because i am a sucker for a fab pencil skirt but because it is classy and chic at the same time. My favourite look is actually the red dress with the black poloneck underneath which is in this image:
All of the items mix and match into an exsisting wardrobe really easily and i can see them working just as hard for me in seasons to come. I had an uber exciting business meeting last week and used these DKNY add's as my inspiration and it worked a treat. My red poloneck was just the ticket in a room full of people wearing head to toe black generic officewear and my French Connection houndstooth skirt was bang on trend and gave me the sexy business vibe i was hoping for. What more could a girl want, well the deal would be nice (fingers crossed).

Kate 'V' Victoria
Two fab Photoshoots for December issues but which one do you prefer?
I am a massive fan of Kate Hudson. Having watched 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days' pretty much every week with my uni house mates, I practically feel like she went to uni with me!! The cover for Elle was really clean and fresh and i thought her styling for the shoot was great but I think it was a shame to use the same outfit so many times! Yes that Dolce and Gabbana silk dress is to die for, but i would have loved to see her in something a little more creative especially with her uber toned body. Something a little more out there next to those amazing shots of her in the Chanel underwear and Lanvin hairpiece would have made those gladiator esque shots much more exciting.
Don't get me wrong she looks fabulous and it is much more edgy than how she is usually photographed, but when you compare it to the styling on the Victoria Beckham shoot in the December Harper's Bazaar I think it pales into insignificance.
The Dolce and Gabbana ruffle jacket, belt and Knickers in this shot look amazing and make much more of an impact than the dress in the Elle shoot.
Then the underwear shot! Although I think Kate Hudson's new figure is fantastic, the shots of Victoria are much more feminine. The Jean Paul Gaultier tights elongate her legs and the vintage bra keeps it classy. The 2nd shot of Victoria with her back to camera even makes her tattoo appealing!

Glam Show Live
This weekend was the 1st ever Glam Show Live and the weather made me even happier to be working at the weekend. I was there with NHJ Style, styling the lovely attendees. It was a hectic 2 days with ladies of all shapes and sizes being belted, accessorized and squeezed into the latest trends. My favourite item on the rail was a houndstooth coat from ZARA:
I think it is such a fab coat and so easy to wear my favourite look for this coat was adding black leather gloves and red lips.
The biggest revelation of the weekend for most of the ladies was finding out there actual bra size! Yes most ladies had been fitted by a well known high street shop and were all in ill fitting bra's that were being about as useful as a chocolate tea pot! It is amazing what the correct bra can do for your silhouette, posture and comfort. We found waists that women had not seen for years due to the fact that there bust was resting on it, there were also yelps of joy when they found out their actual sizes, One lady was wearing a 38D and measured in at 34F a massive difference.
Checkout Bravissimo's hints and tips on finding out if your bra fits you:
Step One - Check to ensure that you are wearing the correct back size.
a) The strap should be firm around your body
b) The strap should be horizontal at the back
c) You can run two fingers under the band
Step Two – Check to ensure the wires sit flat between your boobs and aren't being pushed away from your body.
a) Flat wires at the front
Step Three – Check to ensure you are wearing the right cup size.
a) Your boobs should be enclosed in the cup with no wrinkling of fabric
b) Your boobs don't bulge over top or side of the cups
c) Even in a balconette or plunge bra
The event was a big success for our pod and the weekend came to an end with a much deserved glass of bubbles, yummy. Also my fab feather Oasis Skirt did not get destroyed in the rain on the way home, although i did look rather dishevelled.
